THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
Three staggered levels with a lid that stays on the hanger
This Backyard Expressions tube distributes six perches over three staggered levels. It is a useful alternative to a tray-based feeder when you want distinct feeding positions up a vertical reservoir. The tube is clear, so you can inspect the food level before opening it. The source also describes a raised cone in the base that directs seed toward the lower ports; it is a construction detail, not proof that every last seed will always be used.
The lid slides upward along the included wire hanger and remains attached while filling. If you dislike setting a loose cap down during refills, that movement is worth comparing with screw-off or separate lift lids. Allow room above the feeder for it to open. The listed envelope is 4.15 × 4.15 × 16.5 inches, a useful closed-body measure rather than a separate verified opening clearance.
Aluminum is named for the lid, base and ports, with plastic in the complete material list. The brushed-copper appearance is a finish, not solid-copper construction. Black oil sunflower and a songbird mix are named food examples. Choose the model for the staggered layout and attached top, not an implied guarantee of weather resistance or bird attendance. A button-release-base feeder is the alternative if a documented lower opening matters more, because this source does not establish a removable-base mechanism.

Fit & buying checks for this reference
Plan the lid travel
The closed 16.5-inch height does not quantify the additional room needed to slide the lid up.
Decide which access matters
Compare top-only documented access with a release-base tube if you want to reach the bottom directly.
Questions about this selected product
Does the cap come off completely for filling?
The source describes it sliding up the wire hanger and remaining with the feeder.
Are all six perches on one level?
No. The description places six ports on three staggered levels.
Is a hanging wire supplied?
Yes. Hanging wire is explicitly named in the component list. A separate support is not established as included.
